My relationship with music stretches back to the mid-1980s, to the era when house music was born in Chicago and New York's dance floors had already become sacred spaces. The visionary spirit of David Mancuso's The Loft and Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, places where music wasn't just entertainment but a form of emotional communion, became the compass for everything that followed.
Today, my sound moves between amapiano, afro house, and soulful house, genres that carry that same warmth and humanity. I believe the greatest artists and DJs don't simply perform with technical skill; they move people emotionally. That belief lies at the heart of everything I create. As an artist and producer, my aim is simple and timeless: to make music that touches, uplifts, and gives hope, just as the best music always has.
Amapiano and afro house were born in the warmth of Africa. I create and move to these rhythms from the far north, where the Arctic Circle is never far away and there's usually more ice outside than in our glasses. Still, I hope that same warmth finds its way into the music.
